Ingredients:

  • 1 whole turkey (12-14 lbs), fully thawed and giblets removed
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 large onions, cut into wedges
  • 4 cloves of garlic, whole and peeled
  • 1 heat-resistant cooking bag, suitable for roasting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the turkey under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and dried parsley.
