Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe:

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4

  • 2 cups of cooked white rice
  • 1 pound of raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set them aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 5 minutes until they soften.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs on the other side. Scramble the eggs and mix them with the vegetables.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir everything together. Drizzle the soy sauce over the rice and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot. Enjoy your homemade, delicious shrimp fried rice!
