Recipe for Red, White, and Blue Protein Smoothie

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries, half of the banana, 1/2 cup almond milk, and 1/2 scoop of protein powder. Blend until smooth and pour into a glass.
  2. Rinse the blender, then blend the Greek yogurt, the remaining half of the banana, 1/2 cup almond milk, and 1/2 scoop of protein powder until smooth. Pour this white layer over the red layer in the glass.
  3. Rinse the blender again, then combine the blueberries, remaining almond milk, and a handful of ice cubes. Blend until smooth and pour this blue layer on top of the white layer.
