  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Grated zest and juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly cut parsley


  1. Sprinkle the shrimp with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
  2. Warm the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium to high heat.
  3. Introduce the shrimp to the hot skillet and sear until they adopt a pink color, approximately 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Introduce the finely chopped garlic, grated lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice to the skillet, stirring thoroughly to ensure the shrimp are well-coated.
  5. Allow to simmer for one additional minute before removing from heat.
  6. Garnish with freshly cut parsley prior to serving.
