  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  5. 1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  6. 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  7. 4 cups chicken broth
  8. 1 cup chopped kale
  9. 1 teaspoon dried basil
  10. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  11. Salt and pepper to taste
  12. Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
