Duck and Pepper Stir Fry Recipe:

  • 2 duck breasts, skin on
  • 3 bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), deseeded and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish


  1. Score the duck skin and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the duck, skin-side down, for about 6 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes for medium-rare. Set aside and let it rest.
  2. In the same pan, add the vegetable oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until they are slightly softened but still crisp.
  4. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch-water mixture. Pour this into the pan and stir well to coat the peppers.
  5. Slice the rested duck thinly and add it back to the pan. Toss everything together and cook for another minute.
