  5. 3 medium-sized potatoes, cubed
  6. 1 bottle (12 oz) of your preferred beer
  7. 2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
  8. 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  9. 1 cup of heavy cream
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
